"Living truthfully under imaginary circumstances" is the basis of the acting technique created by Sanford Meisner. As an advanced technique in acting, it requires the actor to go beyond "playing a character" and actually experience living and creating life on stage. No moment on stage is ever the same. It can never be repeated. The intensive will teach the actor to listen and respond to their partner as they live truthfully within a specific moment.   The Acting for The Camera segment will cover: how to transition acting styles from stage to camera, how to audition for the camera and the basic shots that are given.  Material for this work will be provided and it will be interactive. Rehearsal lab time required.
