Robert Smyth
Producing Artistic Director and
performer celebrated his 30th year with
Lamb's Players in 2006. He has directed
over 100 productions for LPT, including
Detective Story, Edith Stein, Joseph and
the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, A
Woman of No Importance, The Secret
Garden, Joyful Noise (here and
Off-Broadway), The Great Divorce,
Hamlet, Metamorphoses, and Into the
Woods. He is the creator and director of
the theatre's annual holiday
celebration, An American Christmas, at
the Hotel Del. The founding member of
our Resident Ensemble, his performance
credits include Damien, The Boys Next
Door, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Sleuth,
Cyrano de Bergerac, Uncle Vanya, My Fair
Lady, 1776, Private Lives, and Art.
