 The  purpose of the Festival is to give high school theatre students an opportunity to sharpen their skills through competitions, interact with colleges and audition/interview for scholarships and programs at the College Fair, and to be encouraged by Christians working in the theatre. Students in public, private and home school settings are invited to attend!

• Events include: solo and duo monologs, musical and dramatic group scenes, and more
• Interact with hundreds of other Christian theatre artists and students from around the US and meet college theatre program representatives.
• Teachers/parents: an opportunity to fellowship, workshop and network with your peers

Special guests leading workshops and performing at the Festival

Internationally acclaimed mask/movement artist DOUG BERKY utilizes three decades of experience to astound audiences worldwide with performances that transcend age, race and culture. A master of mime and improvisation, clowning and suspense, Doug sweeps his audience along with fanciful portrayals of personalities and emotions familiar to all, sometimes poignantly so.

Carol Dilley Jaudes appeared for five years on Broadway as Jennyanydots, the tap-dancing Gumbie Cat in the hit musical CATS.  Her career as a professional actress gave her opportunities to perform across the United States, Canada and Great Britain. Some of Carol’s favorite roles have been Maria in THE SOUND OF MUSIC at The North Carolina Theatre, Eileen in Off-Broadway’s TOO MANY GIRLS, and Annelle in STEEL MAGNOLIAS. She also enjoyed starring in the title role of HELLO DOLLY! at Music Theatre of Wichita.

1:00 – 1:20 pm    Orientation Meeting

1:30 – 6:30 pm    Workshops/Practice Rooms Open/College Fair/Competitions begin

Dinner in downtown Greenville (check out the wide variety of restaurants on Main Street)

8:00 pm                 Evening performance: Carol Jaudes in A Taste of Broadway

7:45-8:15 am        Registration and College Fair

8:15-8:30              Opening Meeting

8:45-12:15            Competitions

12:15-1:15            Lunch/College Fair (be sure to order your lunch when you register)

1:30-5:00             Competitions and workshops (including musical theatre with Carol Jaudes, movement/mime with Doug Berky, technical theatre, success in college theatre programs, auditioning and more)

Dinner in downtown Greenville

6:30 pm                 Evening performance: Doug Berky in No Show!

7:30 pm                 Gala Finale performances by top finalists in each category followed by awards ceremony
