Kintsugi (kint-SOO-gee) is an ancient Japanese art form of restoring broken pottery by mending together the broken pieces, highlighting the imperfections with gold, and transforming the piece into something more beautiful.

The CITA Kintsugi Series utilizes the kintsugi process to address theological themes and how each theme applies to the work of the theatrical artist.

Lauren Hance, CITA Director of Theatre and Theology, hosts discussions with prominent theologians and theatrical artists. Each session will also allow time for participants to pose questions to our guests.

Join in for all 4 parts, or pop in for just one.
